Overview

The Sales Consultant/Inside Sales Associate in the fastener manufacturing industry is responsible for managing customer accounts, generating sales leads, converting prospects into customers, and providing exceptional customer service. This role involves a combination of sales, customer relationship management, and administrative tasks to support the sales team and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

**Sales and Customer Acquisition**:

- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and understand their needs.

**Customer Relationship Management**:

- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing accurate product information, pricing, and delivery details.

**Sales Support and Administration**:

- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential and existing customers.
- Process sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely entry into the system.
- Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system.

**Collaboration and Coordination**:

- Coordinate with the production, logistics, and quality assurance teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Participate in sales meetings and provide feedback on market trends and customer feedback.

**Requirements**:

- **Education and Experience**_:_
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Experience in the fastener industry is a plus.

**Sales Skills**:

- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to generate leads and convert them into long-term customers.

**Communication and Interpersonal Skills**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Ability to explain complex technical information clearly and concisely..

Working Conditions
- The role is typically office-based with occasional travel to customer sites or industry events.
- Standard working hours apply, but flexibility may be required to meet customer needs or attend meetings.
- The position involves working with various departments to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient order processing.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 1- 2 years of experience as an Technical sales.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software.
- Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages
- Graduate; additional computer training or certification will be an asset
- Respond to inquiries
- Enter and update data in databases, spreadsheets, and other digital formats.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of data by comparing it to source documents.
