**Social Media Optimization (SMO)**

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Social Media Optimization (SMO) Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. As an SMO Specialist, you will be responsible for optimizing and enhancing the company’s social media presence to drive engagement, increase organic reach, and improve overall performance. You will work closely with the content, marketing, and analytics teams to execute strategies that improve search visibility, follower growth, and audience interaction across various social platforms. Your expertise in SEO, content optimization, and audience targeting will help elevate the brand’s digital presence and foster strong relationships with our community.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Build and manage online communities on platforms like Reddit, Discord, Twitter, and Pinterest to drive engagement and brand conversations.

2. Research user interests and trends to develop highly engaging, platform-specific content.

3. Plan and manage monthly content calendars for all active social media platforms.

4. Create high-quality, engaging content, including text, images, and videos and schedule posts tailored to each platform’s algorithm — memes, carousels, threads, Pins, polls, etc.

5. Grow and nurture followers by initiating conversations, responding to queries, and fostering meaningful interactions.

6. Collaborate with the content and design teams to produce visually appealing and engaging posts.

7. Track and analyze performance metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth) and suggest improvements.

8. Conduct social listening to monitor brand mentions, competitor activity, and trending topics.

9. Identify and engage with micro-influencers, content creators, or community members for organic reach.

10. Monitor and respond to social media comments, messages, and reviews.

11. Stay updated with platform updates, algorithms and emerging social media tools or trends, including Pinterest SEO and community features.

**Required Skills**:
1. 1to 2 years of experience in social media marketing.

2. Proven track record of improving social media engagement and website traffic.

3. In-depth knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).

4. Excellent English and Hindi content creation, writing, and communication skills.

5. Familiarity with social media analytics tools to measure performance and track trends.
