Technician for Central Kitchen

You will be responsible for the regular maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, and ventilation systems. This includes inspecting, troubleshooting, and fixing any issues that arise to minimize downtime.
- Conducting routine inspections and implementing preventive maintenance programs for the kitchen equipment to identify and address potential problems before they become major issues. This can involve cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, and replacing parts as needed.
- Assisting with the installation and setup of new kitchen equipment. This may involve working closely with suppliers, following technical manuals, and ensuring that the equipment is properly installed and functioning correctly.
- Responding to equipment breakdowns and malfunctions, diagnosing the problem, and performing necessary repairs. This may include replacing faulty components, fixing wiring issues, or recalibrating equipment to restore functionality.
- Ensuring that the kitchen equipment meets all safety regulations and guidelines. This involves regularly checking and maintaining fire suppression systems, gas connections, electrical wiring, and other safety features to minimize hazards and protect staff and property.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. This includes documenting maintenance schedules, logging service calls, and providing detailed reports to management regarding equipment status, repairs, and recommendations.
- Collaborating with kitchen staff, management, and external contractors to coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritize repairs, and communicate any operational issues or concerns. Good communication skills are essential to ensure smooth coordination and efficient problem resolution.
- Keeping abreast of the latest technological advancements in kitchen equipment and suggesting upgrades or improvements that can enhance efficiency, productivity, and food safety.
- Overall, your role as a technician for a central kitchen is crucial in maintaining the functionality and reliability of the equipment, minimizing downtime, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for the kitchen staff.

**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
