**About this role**

**This role provides actionable insight to Global and Enterprise Sales and Marketing functions through Group Insight. The output enables the teams to use the intelligence provided to align their Sales and Marketing programs accordingly thereby driving revenue to BT**

**You'll have the following responsibilities**

Key Accountabilities:

- Working with (often senior) stakeholders to design & deliver highly professional BI solutions using BT standard business intelligence software tools e.g. Qlik, Tableau, MS Office
- Combining technical expertise and domain knowledge to advise and inform consumers of outputs on key trends and actionable insights, so that they may make better informed decisions
- Taking proactive ownership within area of responsibility and consistently introduce new and innovative ways of driving excellence for stakeholders
- At all times, prioritisation of self-serve delivery and end-to-end automation where it is possible to do so
- Taking the lead on ensuring personal skills are up to date and reflective of market trends in this specialised area
- Ensuring all processes, data storage / handling and outputs comply with GDPR, and / or any other applicable compliance laws & regulations

**You'll have the following skills & experience**

Technical:

- Expert level ability and corresponding experience developing automated business intelligence solutions in Qlik Sense, SQL, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint - particularly in the realms of dashboards, visualisations, data manipulation and end-to-end automation
- Will have an extensive portfolio of work that demonstrates ability to produce the high quality and aesthetically rich outputs expected within the Marketing domain
- Accomplished developer using one of the market leading visualisation tools e.g. Qlik Sense, Tableau, MS Power BI also SQL
- Thorough understanding of developing modern BI solutions (and delivery of self-serve in a business environment), including underlying data source handling and ETL development
- Working knowledge of enterprise level databases, database architecture with intermediate to advanced SQL would be an advantage

- At least 4 years’ experience in comparable roles
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in Qlik Sense
- Demonstrable past experience working in the Marketing domain will be a distinct advantage

Other:

- Proven past experience of personally delivering against challenging business objectives
- Clear evidence of strong stakeholder management at multiple levels, including executive level
- A strong and convincing communicator, fluent in the English language
- Must be a self-starter, with a proactive approach to finding solutions to business challenges
