Responsibilities for cook
- Assumes responsibility and accountability for departmental operations in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor, including evening and weekend shifts
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented in accordance with standard recipes and presentations established by the Chef
- Clean and organize workstation
- Completes duties as assigned by the director or supervisor in a timely and acceptable manner
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work stations according to job routine
- Follows recipes for appropriate measurements and procedures
- Prepares and cooks food items for cafeteria, special functions and special diets
- Picks up / returns department keys from / to appropriate area

Qualifications for cook
- Maintain sanitary work stations and equipment
- 2 years kitchen experience is a huge plus
- Extended hours
- Working evenings
