**Job Purpose / Brief of Job Role:
The incumbent supports the Technical Accounting and Claims Handler in processing technical accounts and claims for all classes of business and nature of reinsurance in a timely and accurate manner.

**Key Responsibilities:
- Processing reinsurance accounts and claims in the system
- Cash collection and clearing of open items
- Promptly settle of reinsurance account payable and claims
- Good working collaboration with internal and external clients (underwriters, claims managers, client managers, finance, external brokers, external cedants, etc)
- Maintaining high work standard and excellent quality data in the system
- Ensuring consistency of account settlement and claims handling in the unit
- Ensuring, keeping track of active portfolio management as per the QA guidelines
- Ensure Key Performance Indicator targets in client accounting are met; E.g. Timely and accurate processing of all client statements, receipts and maintaining healthy client receivables/payable position
- Point of contact for external clients (cedants, brokers, auditors, etc.)
- Working constructively with Claims Management, the regional offices and with Underwriting & Client Management Colleagues as and when applicable.

**Education & Experience
- Degree (in finance, accounting, insurance, business, mathematics, law, etc.);
- Graduate in Accounting / Equivalent with 1 to 3 years of experience
- Experience in General/Life Insurance or Reinsurance Industry administration will be an advantage.
- Intermediate/Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and IT skills;
**Competencies:
- Good organizational skill
- Goal oriented with ability to independently complete tasks with mínimal oversight
- Proficient communication and interpersonal skills
- Critical thinking abilities
- Effective problem solving

Working Days: Monday to Saturday
