Digital Librarian

**Job Description**:

- Maintaining data on computer storage media such as LTO Drives, Hard Disk, DV Tapes, VHS etc.
- Maintaining indexed cards and catalogues of the stored data.
- Issuing data devices to the users.
- Maintaining accounts of issues and receipts of data devices.
- Weeding out obsolete data as per instructions given by data owners/controlling officers.
- Ensuring required storing conditions and reporting deficiencies to controlling officer.
- Indenting for gadgets and fixtures for maintaining the data devices Educational.

Qualifications:

- Preferably, Bachelor's in library and information science Key Competencies:

- Skilled in maintaining data on computer storage media such as LTO Drives, Hard Disk, DV Tapes, VHS etc.
- Basic knowledge of computer database and extracting data when required
- Knowledge of making catalogues for tapes present in the library.
- Ability to assess and examine any defects in the tape.
- Ability to make sure no data is leaked or accessed without the permission of owner/controlling officer.
- Knowledge of latest gadgets and devices that may be used for storing data.
- Basic knowledge of troubleshooting devices.
- Skilled in making a record of all the inventory movements.

Experience : 1-5 years

Salary : Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000 per month

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
