**Job Duties and Responsibilities - Librarian (IB School)**

We are looking for a librarian in our prestigious BM concept school that should play a vital role in fostering a culture of inquiry, reading, and lifelong learning. He/she should supports the academic and personal development of students across the Primary Years Programme (PYP) by providing access to all needed resources and promoting information literacy in alignment with IB philosophy.
- Manage and organize library resources including books, digital materials, and subscriptions.
- Assist students and staff in locating and using information effectively.
- Promote a reading culture and support literacy development across all grade levels.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into the IB curriculum.
- Guide students in research skills, referencing, and academic honesty in line with IB expectations.
- Maintain an up-to-date and diverse library collection that supports the PYP programmes.
- Plan and conduct library orientation sessions and reading programs.
- Manage library budget and acquisition of new materials.
- Oversee the cataloging and classification of library resources.
- Use library management systems for circulation, inventory, and reporting.
- Ensure the library is a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible learning environment.
- Supervise students using the library and enforce rules for proper usage.
- Stay informed on current trends in education, literature, and digital resources.
- Organize author visits, book fairs, and reading challenges to engage the school community.
- Support students' extended essays and personal projects by providing research guidance.

**Educational Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, or a related field (mandatory).

Pay: ₹10,918.28 - ₹15,757.48 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
