An academic counselor, also known as an education counselor or guidance counselor, helps students with academic and career decisions. They may work in colleges or universities. Academic counselors may:

- Help students choose courses
- Help students choose a major
- Help students take advantage of opportunities like study abroad and extracurricular activities
- Help students plan their careers
- Help students develop personal development
- Help students manage academic stress
- Help students with personal or emotional issues
- Help students develop personalized plans based on their goals, abilities, and learning style
- Interpret course material
- Help students improve their learning strategies to become independent learners

**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
