Based at our Belfast Mill, Northern Road Belfast, the company are wishing to recruit for the following position.

**PRODUCTION & PLANNING TEAM LEAD BELFAST**:
Reporting to the Mill Manager, you will demonstrate levels of performance that meets the commercial requirements of the business whilst maximizing efficiency, service, quality, health and safety on a best cost framework.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with the day to day running of the production facility, organisation of personnel and the manufacture of required tonnages.
- Responsible for the achievement of agreed production targets.
- Delivery of feed of consistently satisfactory quality and the requirements of health and safety and environmental legislation/policy to be met at minimum cost
- Ensure a safe working environment for all Operations personnel and ensure safety standards are met in accordance with company policy.
- Demonstrate leadership and motivation together with the creation of a team that readily accepts responsibility and ownership.
- Understand the knowledge, skills, and abilities of each Operations employee in order to select, train, and provide guidance and inspiration through leadership and teamwork to ensure empowered work teams
- Driving continuous improvement within the department and related departments affecting logistics and production efficiencies.
- Address issues when they arise for minimum disruption to production and logistics and modify schedules to solve unforeseen problems.
- Assist with the implement the capital projects for the site.
- Communicate with stakeholders and ensure customer expectations are met.
- Maximize finished product quality standards and consistency.
- Maintain hygiene standards and the implementation of all procedures
- Work with the maintenance department to allow maintenance tasks to carried out in a timely manner.
- Assist with the site stock control and variances

**Skills & Experience**
- At least 3-5 years in manufacturing environments or supply chain role.
- Experience of UFAS or equivalent standards of operation
- Knowledge of logístical requirements for Animal Feed material and product haulage.
- Good training and presentation skills
- Effective team leadership
- H&S responsibilities
- Ambition to excel and for career progression will be an asset.
- Report generation and data interpretation
- Flexibility to work times.
