1. Food Preparation:

- Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented according to cafestandards.

2. Kitchen Operations:

- Help with daily kitchen operations, including mise en place and station setup.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
- Follow instructions from the Sous Chef or Head Chef to complete tasks efficiently.

3. Quality and Consistency:

- Ensure food quality and consistency in every dish.
- Monitor the freshness and quality of ingredients used.

4. Health and Safety:

- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

5. Learning and Development:

- Actively seek feedback and learn from senior kitchen staff.
- Participate in training sessions and skill development opportunities.

6. Team Collaboration:

- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is required.
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Culinary degree or relevant training is an advantage.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
- Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.

Working Conditions:

- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat and sharp utensils.
