Mainframe testing JD
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze requirements and develop mainframe test cases and test scripts.
Validate batch jobs, JCL, COBOL programs, DB2, VSAM files, and CICS screens.
Utilize tools such as SPUFI, QMF, File-AID, TSO/ISPF, and Changeman/Endevor.
Execute regression, system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Identify, log, and track bugs using test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, Rational Quality Manager).
Collaborate with development and business teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
Participate in test planning, effort estimation, and reporting.
