We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate ServiceNow DevOps Expert to lead the charge in transforming our IT automation and service management capabilities. In this role, you will be the visionary and technical authority for all things ServiceNow within our DevOps ecosystem. Your deep expertise in ServiceNow development, automation, and integration, particularly with tools like Ansible for configuration management and ServiceNow monitoring tools (including integrations with Prometheus), will be instrumental in optimizing our workflows, enhancing collaboration, and driving efficiency across the entire software development lifecycle.

**Responsibilities**:

- ServiceNow DevOps Strategist: Define and champion the strategic direction for ServiceNow within our DevOps practice, aligning it with our overall IT and business objectives, with a focus on leveraging ServiceNow for configuration management, automation, and comprehensive monitoring.
- Integration Mastermind: Seamlessly integrate ServiceNow with our complex DevOps toolchain, including GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, Jira, Jira Service Desk, Ansible, Prometheus, and other relevant monitoring tools, ensuring data flow and process orchestration across platforms.
- Workflow Optimization Guru: Continuously analyze, optimize, and re-engineer our DevOps workflows within ServiceNow, identifying bottlenecks, eliminating manual touchpoints, and maximizing efficiency, particularly in areas related to configuration management, automation, and monitoring.
- Performance & Reliability Guardian: Establish and maintain the highest standards of performance, reliability, and scalability for our ServiceNow-powered DevOps solutions, proactively monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues, including those related to Ansible integrations and monitoring systems. Leverage ServiceNow monitoring tools and Prometheus for deep insights into system health and performance.
- Collaboration Champion: Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing between development, operations, security, and other relevant teams, ensuring that ServiceNow solutions, including those leveraging Ansible and monitoring tools, are effectively adopted and leveraged across the organization.
- ServiceNow Thought Leader: Stay ahead of the curve by actively researching and experimenting with emerging ServiceNow features, updates, and best practices, constantly seeking innovative ways to further enhance our DevOps capabilities, particularly in the realm of configuration management, automation, and monitoring with tools like Ansible, ServiceNow monitoring tools, and Prometheus.

**Required Skills**:

- DevOps Visionary: Deep understanding and practical experience with a wide range of DevOps principles, practices, and tools, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, configuration management (specifically with Ansible), automated testing, and monitoring (including Prometheus).
- Automation Evangelist: Passion for automation and a proven track record of designing, implementing, and scaling complex automation solutions within ServiceNow or similar platforms, with a strong emphasis on using Ansible for configuration management and integrating with monitoring systems.
- Integration Maestro: Extensive experience integrating ServiceNow with various third-party tools and platforms, particularly those commonly used in DevOps workflows, such as Jira, GitLab, Ansible, Prometheus, and other monitoring and cloud providers.
- Problem-Solving Ninja: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex issues within the ServiceNow DevOps ecosystem, including those related to Ansible integrations and monitoring systems.
- Communication Catalyst: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Preferred Skills:

- GitLab CI/CD Expertise: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and their seamless integration with ServiceNow, including the use of Ansible for configuration management and integration with monitoring tools within those pipelines.
- Cloud Platform Proficiency: Strong familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including their integration points with ServiceNow and their role in DevOps workflows, particularly in conjunction with Ansible for cloud infrastructure automation and integration with cloud-based monitoring solutions.
- Scripting Languages Mastery: Proficiency in scripting languages commonly used in DevOps, such as Python or Bash, further enhancing automation capabilities, especially when working with Ansible playbooks and integrating with monitoring APIs.
