This position requires individuals to define product strategy and oversee product planning and execution throughout the product life cycle.
- Working with the Corporate/ Senior PO will be responsible for delivering the strategy / Road map / positioning for releasing new enhancements in ALI product suite.
- Responsible for managing the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
- Manage the requirements of the owned module(s)/Product(s)/Application(s)
- Interact with Product Owners / Business Development / Support / Development / Sales unit(s) and drive the solution to achieve business goals.
- Responsible for communicating with Customers effectively and manage their expectations in the owned areas of ALI products suite.
- Additional responsibilities may include aid in pre-sales activities / Conduct workshops with customers and other stakeholders / Conference presentations & demonstration
- Manages a product by defining product strategy and overseeing product planning and execution throughout the product life cycle.
- Provides domain-specific engineering knowledge for assigned products.
- Capably handles multiple tasks and switches from task to task without loss of efficiency.
- Interacts with customers and the sales organization to drive product direction and ensure capabilities meet market needs and customer satisfaction goals.
- Works closely with development and scrum teams to oversee and approve product designs, enhancements, and quality.
- Directs the integration of technical aspects of the product.

**Education / Qualifications**

Bachelor of Engineering / Technology in Mechanical/ Electrical or Equivalent with Plant Design expereince using CADworx suite of products

Should have a minimum of 6-8 years of relevant work experience within the engineering domain.

**Skills Required**:
**Domain Skills**:
Strong understanding of Engineering Domain and Plant Design (Oil & Gas, Marine, Mining and EPC) specially in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation Engineering related designs.
Experience in Designing large Plants using Plant Design software. Experience in CADWorx is added advantage.
Knowledge about Plant Maintenance or operations.

**Technical Skills**:
Exposure / experience in software development processes like Agile, Scrum / SAFe etc.
A brief understanding of Cloud environment and SaaS Applications.
Power User of Computers in General. (Basic understanding of OS its peripheral tools etc.)
Preferred (not required):Knowledge on SQL / Oracle relational databases and basic understanding of sequential queries
Preferred (not required): exposure to commercially available systems (e.g. E3D, S3D, Bentley Plant management systems, etc)

**Soft Skills**

Strong communication / negotiation skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and willing to work under pressure.
