**Work Location: Kanha Shanti Vanam, Hyderabad**

**Position Overview**

Senior Educator/ Trainer with experience planning/ coordinating/ scheduling; inspire EL Team to work in harmony; recruit & train volunteers and paid staff; design/ market/ deliver children/teen/ adult HFN pottery, THLC & TGS project curriculums for workshops/ camps/ internships, certificate programs; develop annual calendar; facilitate cooperation with Production Studio & other Kanha departments to achieve joint projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Program Development & Management**:

- Design and develop experiential learning programs focused on pottery techniques, ceramic arts, and related fields.
- Organize workshops, classes, and community events to engage participants in hands-on learning.
- Create curriculum or learning materials to enhance student engagement and ensure progressive skill development.
- Ensure programs align with educational and artistic goals, making necessary adjustments based on feedback and outcomes.

**Instructor and Participant Coordination**:

- Collaborate with pottery instructors and other experts to develop and deliver high-quality educational content.
- Provide support and guidance to both instructors and participants to foster a positive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and assist with troubleshooting challenges related to techniques or equipment.

**Facility and Equipment Management**:

- Oversee the maintenance and organization of pottery studios, ensuring all tools, equipment, and materials are available and in good working order.
- Manage inventory of supplies such as clay, glazes, tools, and firing materials.
- Ensure that health and safety protocols are strictly followed, especially with kiln operations and handling of materials.

**Community Engagement & Partnerships**:

- Establish partnerships with local schools, community centers, and art institutions to promote pottery as an experiential learning medium.
- Organize public events, exhibitions, or showcases to highlight student work and engage the wider community.
- Promote the pottery program through outreach efforts, online presence, and community engagement.

**Administration & Reporting**:

- Manage program registration, schedules, and records for participants.
- Prepare reports and evaluations on program performance and outcomes.
- Track expenses, manage budgets, and handle necessary administrative tasks for program operations.

**Instruction & Mentorship**:

- Occasionally lead workshops or classes, providing hands-on instruction and mentorship to participants.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for individuals of all ages and skill levels.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Education, or a related field (preferably with a focus on ceramics or pottery).
- Experience in teaching or coordinating experiential learning programs, especially in artistic or craft-based fields.
- Proficiency in pottery techniques including hand-building, wheel throwing, glazing, and firing processes.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Ability to manage studio environments and ensure safety compliance.
- Passionate about art education, community engagement, and hands-on learning.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working with kilns, glaze chemistry, or other specialized ceramic equipment.
- Familiarity with art therapy principles or recreational arts programming.
- Strong network within the local art or craft community.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
