**Roles and Responsibilities** Our Client is a leading impact investor focused on private debt and private equity across emerging markets.Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Zurich, it has invested over USD 12 billion since inception and has a strong performance track record.With over 200 employees, collaborating from seven offices, the company invests across three distinctive themes to directly contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
1. Financial Inclusion, to finance the growth of Micro & SMEs
- 2. Climate Finance, to contribute to a net zero pathway
- 3. Sustainable Food, to sustainably feed an ever-growing population
- Their Transactions team is looking for a new dedicated colleague in the function of a Transaction Officer Sustainable Food in MumbaiThe position is designed for an accurate and efficient professional with a team and business oriented mindset and a flair for numbers.**Your Main Tasks**
- Drafting private debt contractual documents, such as promissory notes, loan agreements and waivers with the assistance of the Legal department.
- Working closely with Borrowers and Investment Officers for obtaining and tracking various constitutional, legal, financial and regulatory documents.
- Validating these documents based on internal policy and AML guidelines; undertake necessary steps to remedy any discrepancy or non-compliant documents.
- Continuous investment administration like cash flow notification and tracking, legal documents tracking, monitoring and mark-to-market evaluation of commodity indexed contracts, setting-up and monitoring of collaterals as in Collateral Management Agreements and in fixed assets financing.
- FX Trade Execution and post processing, covering all asset classes including derivatives.
- Act as a point of contact for borrowers, custodians and business partners for transactional queries and requests

**Education Qualifications**
- Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field from a recognized and reputable institution.

**Experience**
- 3 or more years of work experience with private debt structures in Back or Middle Office or in a Finance environment.

**Skills**
- Analytical skills, ability to stick to tight timelines and strong organizational and planning skills.
- Good understanding of legal and operational matters relevant to investment funds.
- Business proficiency in English and Spanish; any other language would be considered an asset.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite, especially Excel.
- Efficient, accurate and independent work style; able to work in close cooperation with team members across different geographies, interested in working in a culturally diverse environment.
- Interest in and enthusiasm for working with team members in different locations across the globe and for impact investing.
