The goal as a Special Educator is to identify, assess and then provide services that allow children who have disabilities to succeed

**Requirements for the role**:

- Proficiency in Verbal Communication (English, Hindi and Marathi)
- Proficieny in basic computer skills - Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Social Perceptiveness - Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do.
- Persuasion - Persuading others to change their minds or behavior.
- Attention to Detail -Being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
- Innovation - Job requires creativity and alternative thinking to develop new ideas for and answers to work-related problems.
- Ability to establish trust and a positive rapport with children and work within ethical boundaries at all times
- Ability to work both in a team environment and independently
- Analytical and assessment skills

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- B.Ed. Special Education
- Valid RCI Certification

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- B.Ed. Special Education
- 1-2 years’ previous experience performing direct care services to children

**Knowledge and Skills**:

**Responsibilities and KRAs**:
**Planning**:

- Prepares children for school readiness program (either for _Major activities involved in the job. Each responsibility _mainstreaming or integration or inclusion)
- Collaborates with students, parents, and other members of staff to develop developmental plan for each student assigned

**Teaching**
- Conducts ongoing assessments of student achievement through formal and informal testing
- Creates classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students

**Communication**
- Establishes and maintains open communication by conducting
