**Position Summary**:
As a Sales Associate in the Retail Department Store, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers in finding products, and maximizing sales opportunities. You will contribute to the overall success of the store by maintaining a clean and organized environment and by effectively promoting store promotions and events.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Greet customers as they enter the store and provide them with assistance in finding products or answering their questions.
2. Maintain a thorough knowledge of products, promotions, and store policies to effectively assist customers and drive sales.
3. Actively engage with customers to identify their needs and recommend appropriate products or solutions.
4. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
5. Keep shelves stocked and organized, ensuring that products are neatly displayed and easily accessible to customers.
6. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any low stock situations to management.
7. Participate in store promotions and events to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.
8. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including cleaning shelves, displays, and fitting rooms.
9. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
10. Uphold company standards for customer service, professionalism, and store presentation at all times.
**Other requisites**:
- Computer knowledge
- Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
**Qualification**:
10th pass and above or ITI in any stream.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up weight
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach.
- Ability to work in varied temperatures within the store environment.
**Number of working hours per day**: 9 hours
**Salary**: ₹7,500.00 - ₹9,500.00 per month
