**Key Responsibilities**:
**Leadership and Management**:

- Supervise and lead the OT nursing team and support staff.
- Coordinate staff schedules and assignments.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and training.

**Operational Oversight**:

- Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are available, sterile, and in good working condition.
- Monitor and maintain the inventory of surgical supplies.
- Implement and enforce OT protocols and safety guidelines.

Coordination and Communication:

- Liaise with surgeons, anesthetists, and other medical staff to facilitate smooth operations.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns in the OT.
- Maintain effective communication with the multidisciplinary team and hospital administration.

**Quality and Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of the OT.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives and best practices.
