Store and Accounts Assistant

The Store and Accounts Assistant is responsible for assisting in the management of the store’s inventory and ensuring accurate record-keeping of financial transactions. The role supports both the logistics and accounting functions, ensuring smooth daily operations in stock management, procurement, and financial documentation.

**Key Responsibilities:1. Inventory Management**:

- Assist in maintaining accurate stock records, monitoring inventory levels, and reordering supplies when necessary.
- Conduct periodic stock checks and ensure all items are properly labeled and stored.
- Assist in the physical receipt, inspection, and storage of goods, ensuring proper documentation of deliveries.
- Coordinate with suppliers to track orders, deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of materials.
- Support in managing stock levels and planning for future needs based on sales forecasts or production requirements.

**2. Store Operations**:

- Ensure that the store is organized, clean, and maintained according to safety standards.
- Monitor the dispatch of goods from the store and track deliveries to customers or internal departments.
- Assist in generating purchase orders, goods receipt notes (GRNs), and inventory reports as required.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials.

**3. Accounts and Financial Documentation**:

- Maintain and update daily financial records, including sales invoices, receipts, and vendor payments.
- Assist in preparing and processing purchase orders, bills, and expense claims.
- Record daily sales transactions, ensuring they are accurately posted into the accounting system.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing procedures by preparing necessary financial reports.
- Reconcile stock movement with sales and purchases, ensuring proper bookkeeping.

**4. Reporting**:

- Generate stock reports, transaction reports, and financial summaries for management review
- Submit monthly MSOD to bank on due date
- Prepare monthly consumption report and review the same with mangament.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

**5. Compliance and Record Keeping**:

- Ensure proper documentation and filing of all store and accounting records.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documents and reports.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for both store operations and accounting processes.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in inventory management and Store accounting.
- Prior experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and ERP systems is a plus.
- **Skills**:

- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and financial software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and inventory management.

- Strong numeracy and analytical ability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Integrity and ethical judgment in handling sensitive financial data.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
