**Job Opportunity: Control M Mainframe Scheduler**

**About the Team**:
At FIS, our production support team comprises of professionals skilled in mainframes, open system batch scheduling, NDM: Connect Direct, CA Output Management, and CA Easytrieve administration. We operate from locations in Bangalore, Chennai, and Pune. Our Level 3 team provides scheduling and administrative services to multiple clients across the globe.

**What You Will Be Doing**:

- Create and manage job scheduling definitions, trigger setup, and restart management using Control-M for z/OS
- Install and configure Control-M for z/OS and utilize Control-M Workload Automation interface for managing z/OS jobs
- Create/modify JCL for job functions such as copies, backups, restores, etc.
- Respond to processing problems and client requests, and maintain data center disaster recovery plan
- Handle output management, including determining destination and routing of output, configuring report retention periods, and interpreting client requests
- Have knowledge of software maintenance, sort or text searches for report creation, and setting up bundling
- Analyze report/routing errors and provide corrective actions; reload/resend reports if needed

**What You Bring**:

- 8-11 years of experience in Control-M for z/OS scheduler, with expertise in Mainframe Scheduling Administration, Output Management, JCL, MVS, TSO, and Batch Processing
- Expert knowledge in JCL and ability to create new processes using IBM utilities
- Act as a support and domain expert for z/OS operating system and components
- Possess problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex information to a wide audience
- Participate in strategic planning and direction
