Role Overview

**Position overview**:
The main mission for this position is to collaborate with scientists, understand their analytical
needs to support the project, selecting the right tool and enabling the project by delivering to
the project expectations.
**Performance objectives**:

- Developing new test methods and/or use established analytical methods or combination of different analytical tools; to meet the customer needs for characterization.
- Multinational organization with a good work-life balance.
- Learning opportunity for characterization of small molecules to polymeric materials.
- Interpretation and validation of data generated using various supporting analytical techniques.
- The Research and Innovation Center's analytical laboratories promote an environment of innovation,creativity, freedom to think outside the box, and propose new solutions.

**Qualifications and requirements**:

- Minimum Masters in Chemistry (Analytical, Organic, Inorganic, and Polymer) or related discipline with 8 to 12 years of relevant industrial experience.
- Experience in pharma, fine chemicals, polymer, or surfactant preferred.
- Ability to negotiate workflow and priorities for multiple independent projects.

Desired skills:

- Demonstrate a commitment to safety and ensure all daily works meet HSE requirements.
- Be a part of highly trained and dedicated team of scientists developing, executing and interpreting physico-chemical and materials analysis.
- Have hands on experience in the analysis using at least two of the following analytical technique clusters.

1. Wet Analysis (various type of titrations BY Manual/Autotitrators, gravimetric, and environmental analysis)
2. Spectroscopy (FTIR, UV,AAS/ICP, NMR)
3. Chromatography (GC, HPLC, GPC and IC using various detectors).
- Have experience in diagnostic and troubleshooting of any above mentioned analytical equipment is a plus.
- Have adaptability to use digital tools and software.
- Capable to work independently with little guidance, and willingness learn different analytical techniques.
- Have ability to understand project’s characterization requirements, suggesting suitable techniques, new method development, solve routine R&D problems following established procedures.
- Evaluation and correlation of data and propose solutions to internal/external projects using available capabilities.
