**Role Overview**

**We are looking for**:
A collaborative team member who will work with scientists to understand their needs and support the project by selecting the right tools and delivering to project expectations.

**We count on you for**:

- Actively participating in organic/polymer synthesis activities in multiple projects
- Planning, designing and execution of experiments
- Analyzing and documenting results and creating reports
- Ensuring proper housekeeping while maintaining Solvay's safety protocols
- Collaborating with colleagues from different geographic locations
- Creating industrially relevant technical proposals in consultation with various business units

**You will bring**:

- Education : Ph.D. in Organic/Polymer Chemistry
- Experience : 1-2 years of post-doctoral experience (desirable), Fresh PhDs are also encouraged to apply
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English
- Ability to work independently
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and chemistry related tools/softwares

**Additional information**:
The position requires working in a chemical laboratory on a day-to-day basis, and mandates the use of personal protective equipments (eg. lab coat, safety glass, safety shoe etc.) for extended period of time.
