**Job Description: Land Acquisition Expert - Mumbai**

**Position Title**:Land Acquisition (Retired Tehsildar)

**Location**:
Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead end-to-end land acquisition processes including identification, negotiation, due diligence, and legal formalities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws (e.g., **The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Act, 2013**, Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, etc.)
- Manage liaison with **government authorities**, municipal corporations, collectors, SRA, MHADA, and other regulatory bodies.
- Provide legal and procedural inputs during project bidding, especially on **land readiness and risk assessment**.
- Coordinate with legal teams to ensure title verification, encumbrance checks, mutation, and registration of acquired lands.
- Negotiate and settle land prices, compensation, and resettlement packages with landowners and local stakeholders.
- Evaluate land parcels for feasibility, zoning, FSI potential, and integration into project design.
- Support bid preparation by providing accurate land acquisition timelines, cost estimates, and risk mitigation strategies.

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong understanding of land acquisition laws and urban development regulations in Maharashtra
- Proven track record of acquiring land for large-scale infrastructure or real estate projects
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Expertise in dealing with government departments and regulatory bodies
- Ability to handle sensitive socio-political environments and resolve conflicts
- Good communication, documentation, and reporting abilities

Pay: ₹50,181.94 - ₹156,439.82 per month
