**Primary Responsibilities**:

- The following description of job responsibilities and standards are intended to reflect the major responsibilities and duties of the job but is not intended to describe minor duties or other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
- Review collected data to ensure information is accurate and complete (e.g., correct billing details such as patient name, diagnosis codes ICD 9 codes; diagnosis history will not be entered, physician address, Insurance company name, employer details etc.)
- Manually enter and/or scan relevant data using applicable systems or programs
- Review entered data in order to identify errors or discrepancies prior to submission
- Ensure data entry is performed in an accurate and timely manner according to quality standards
- Adhere to workflows, business rules, policies, and procedures
- Retrieve scanned EOBs from shared drive (US) and enter patient specific information into system
- Prepare and analyze balancing report (reconciliation) for each client in their set of assigned account.to insure accurate posting
- In case of over/under payments analyze the reason and take appropriate actions
- May be required to:

- Make adjustment to either patient based on internal reports and/or documentation
- Close batches at end of the day
- Ensure batches sent from cash management equal the number of batches received and posted by the payment associate
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

**Eligibility**
- Minimum duration of 12 months of continuous service in their current grade and position
- Performance rating in the last common review cycle of “Meets Expectations” or higher
- Not be on any active CAP (Corrective Action Plan) or active disciplinary action

**Required Qualifications**:

- Background in the payment posting, medical, insurance, or healthcare industry
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Experience in Customer interaction to answer and resolve inquiries
- General knowledge in reading EOBs and ERAs (not required due to training, but a plus)
- Typing speed of 45 WPM with 95% accuracy
- Good comprehension skills
- Ability to maintain and respect the confidentiality of patient information in accordance with posting guidelines and corporate policy and procedure
- Ability to participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
- Proven excellent communication skills - oral and interpersonal
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid attention to detail and Ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapting to change
- Proven excellent organizational skills
