As a legal translator, you would convert legal papers from one language to another specifically translating marathi documents into english. You will have to translate administrative orders, affidavits, judicial opinions/comments, naturalization papers ought to be maintained, real estate documents, trusts and wills, General Resolutions, Notification, legal notices.. Therefore, it's important that you understand the legal paperwork

Duties of Legal Translator include:
- Assists in the preparation of patent evaluation reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Keeps records and maintains a database of documents as they are translated and evaluated.
- Reading through original material and rewriting it in the target language, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained.
- Using specialist dictionaries, and reference books to find the closest equivalents for terminology and words used ( No usage of Artificial Intelligence or google translations ).
- Researching legal, technical and scientific phraseology to find the correct translation.
- Proofreading and editing final translated and edited documents.
- Providing grammatically correct, well-expressed final version of the translated text, usually as a word-processed document.
- Prioritizing work to meet deadlines.

Knowledge, skills and Abilities of Legal Translator required are:
- Must be fluent in English and Marathi language (Local language)
- Must have a minimum of 4 years of translation experience in the legal department.
- Must be ready to work from the Office, as this is a full time job.
- Well versed with google docs & google sheets.
- Must have a minimum typing speed of 30 wpm & certificate acknowledging the same.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
