Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chinese Translator located in Mumbai. The Chinese Translator will be responsible for accurately translating written documents and communications from Chinese to English and vice versa, ensuring the translated content conveys the original meaning clearly. They will also be tasked with interpreting spoken communications during meetings or conferences and providing cultural context and language support to ensure effective communication between teams. The role requires collaboration with various departments to ensure seamless communication across Kaiyindu's operations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Chinese (HSK 6) and English languages for translation and interpretation tasks
• Ability to convey nuanced meanings and cultural contexts in translations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in translation tasks
• Experience with translation software and tools is a plus
• Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and collaborate with different departments
• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in the import-export or international trade industry is beneficial
