Product Owner

**Role Purpose**:
The primary purpose of the Product Manager for the Biometrics team is to lead the strategic direction and execution of product development initiatives within the realm of biometric technologies. This involves translating business requirements into actionable plans, overseeing the development process, and continuously evaluating product performance to drive iterative improvements. By fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams and engaging with stakeholders at all levels, the Product Manager ensures the successful delivery of products that meet the company's objectives and industry standards

**Example Role Responsibilities**:

- As the Senior Product Owner for Biometrics, you'll collaborate closely with machine learning teams on Face Match and biometric technologies. Your primary responsibilities include understanding the business needs in alignment with Product Management and translating them into epics and user stories.
- Establish a clear understanding of the business value within the team
- Close collaboration with all members of the cross-functional team, especially Engineering and Machine Learning
- Work closely with Product Managers to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value and company strategy
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand product requirements
- Partners with Data Analysts to report product capabilities/performance and decisions are made based on data
- Oversees product progress at each iteration
- Keep up to date with agile best practices and new trends
- Effectively communicating directly with stakeholders all over the globe

**Relevant Experience and Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Product Owner in an agile environment
- Understanding of Machine Learning and AI patterns
- Experience with Biometric technologies is an advantage
- Technical skills with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and processes
- Data-driven attitude
- Knowledge of agile processes and principles. Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or a similar framework is an advantage.
- Ability to work in an international context
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, and communication skills
- Excellent skills in spoken and written English
