Job Title: Procurement Executive

Location: Goa, India

**Responsibilities**:
Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies in line with company objectives and budgetary requirements.

Source and select suppliers/vendors, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term relationships to ensure the best value for the company.

Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and assess their competitiveness.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to determine procurement needs and specifications for each project.

Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to procurement policies and procedures.

Monitor and expedite the delivery of materials, equipment, and services to ensure timely project execution.

Evaluate supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise, maintaining a high level of supplier satisfaction.

Conduct regular reviews of procurement processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing efficient and cost-effective solutions.

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procurement activities, contracts, and supplier agreements.

Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and regulatory requirements to make informed procurement decisions.

Collaborate with the finance department to ensure proper invoicing, payment processing, and cost control measures are in place.

Adhere to ethical practices and promote sustainability in procurement activities.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction industry.

Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and processes.

Proven track record of successful supplier/vendor management and negotiation skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficient in using procurement software and tools.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Knowledge of local and regional suppliers in the construction industry in Goa is a plus.

Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements in procurement.

High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
