EIMS project is currently under execution at L&T Vizag. The manpower compliment for EIMS necessitates placement of Ex - Navy Submarine officer preferably having exposure to ATVP program.

One Engineering Editor has recently parted due to family commitments and there is a need for fulfilling the vacant slot in order to meet the project timelines. Further, customer has shown keen interest in the EIMS software that is being configured. Also, multiple enquiries have been received about the software capabilities and further utilization of this software onboard Naval underwater platforms and for Through Life Support Management.

Hence, there is a there is an opportunity to take forward the existing set-up and further configure various modules which can be showcased to Navy. This has to be done by understanding Navy’s existing systems, interacting with Navy’s various units, gathering user’s requirement leading to preparation of technical proposals depicting end to end solution to customer and convert this opportunity in to RFP and further implementation.

Availability of a Ex submarine naval officer with experience of naval systems and knowledge of organization processes, on a permanent role will facilitate timely progress of EIMS project smooth execution and convert the realizable opportunities as define above.
- Lead a team of authors for preparation of engineering systems technical manuals and maintenance manuals inline with the committed schedules.
- Act as project lead to define logics, workflows and configure Electronic Information Management System in line with customer's requirement and propose to customer and implement end to end solution for Through Life Support Management of Naval Platforms.
- Identify key business development areas through interaction with customers and provide solutions by undertaking POCs and preparation of technical proposals.
- Effectively liaise with various departments for cross functional collaboration and impart system's knowledge to all concerned
- In addition, responsible for following Platform execution activities pertaining to System formation and Trials
- Define policies and standard operating procedures for conduct of engineering systems trials.
- Undertake planning and scheduling for performing activities pertaining to engineering systems trials such as Setting to Work and Harbor Acceptance Trials.
