**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:
Job Description for Commodity Analysis & VAVE (6 Positions)

Qualification: Bachelors in mechanical/Automobile Engineering

Technical Requirement:
Work Experience - 8 to 10 Years in Design/Manufacturing area with hands on in any of the areas i.e. Castings, Forgings, Stampings, Gears, Motors, Inverters, control units and electronic components and CAD software tool knowledge, i.e. UG NX / Catia V5 / Creo-8 and above
- Working Knowledge of Teamcenter (TcUA)
- Hands on experience on tolerance stack up analysis.
- Working knowledge of VAVE process and methods & participation in VAVE workshops.
- Use of cost estimation tools like aPriori / Costimator or any other tools is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Design for Cost, Manufacturing and Assembly is necessary.
- Working experience as process / cost estimator in auto parts industry.
- Non-Technical
- Good in Communication and interpersonal skill
- Creative
- Team Player
- Good in attitude
- Work with US/Europe team with few hours of overlap timings.

Job Profile:
To work in Cost and Value Engineering team to Support VAVE & Costing of traditional driveline parts and e-driveline parts using costing software tool ie. aPriori / Costimator,
Understand and build the digital manufacturing setup in a software tool to simulate the mfg cost, knowledge of Various Mfg processes and workflow is necessary, working knowledge of Teamcenter (TcUA) is necessary,
Knowledge of traditional and e-driveline for component design work for various Axle models, design of components and tolerance stack up analysis. Axle Assemblies and its drawings. Installation drawings.
Responsible and accountable for quality, delivery, communication and maintaining project related documentation.
