**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching & Curriculum Development**:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons on Accountancy topics, such as financial accounting, partnership accounts, company accounts, and analysis of financial statements, as per the curriculum guidelines of the school and the education board (CBSE/ICSE/State Board).
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles, ensuring clarity of complex accounting principles and concepts.
- Prepare students for board examinations through effective coverage of the syllabus, practice of past papers, and mock exams.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Create a conducive learning environment that encourages students to actively participate and understand practical accounting procedures.
- Ensure classroom discipline while promoting a collaborative learning atmosphere.
- **Assessment & Evaluation**:

- Design and conduct regular assessments, such as tests, quizzes, assignments, and projects to gauge students' understanding and progress.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their performance and areas for improvement.
- Help students improve their problem-solving skills and accuracy in accounting calculations.
- **Student Development**:

- Mentor students in developing analytical and critical thinking skills, with a focus on interpreting financial data and preparing financial reports.
- Provide extra assistance and remedial teaching for students who require additional support in Accountancy.
- **Technology Integration**:

- Use accounting software, digital tools, and other technological resources to demonstrate accounting practices and concepts more effectively.
- Incorporate e-learning tools to make accountancy lessons more interactive and engaging.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in accountancy and commerce education.
- Participate in workshops, seminars, and training programs to improve teaching techniques and content delivery.
- **Parent-Teacher Communication**:

- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding the academic performance and progress of students.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss students' strengths, areas for improvement, and strategies for academic success.
- **Co-curricular Involvement**:

- Assist in organizing commerce-related activities, such as business simulations, accounting workshops, and financial literacy programs.
- Mentor students interested in pursuing careers in commerce, accounting, and finance, offering guidance on further studies and professional courses like CA, CS, or CMA.
