**Purpose of the position**

**RMO- MBBS**

1. Clinically Assess The Patients,

MBBS Degree and DMC Also

2. Work As A Team With The Nursing Staff,

3. Smooth Functioning of the wards to achieve treatment goals and better patient outcome

**Key responsibilities & duties**

1. To be punctual, disciplined, neatly dressed, be present in the wards on time.

2. To work in wards in Rotation shifts.

3. To take proper bedside, file to file handovers

4. To take rounds of the designated wards thoroughly and clinically assess the patients i.e general and systemic examination and put comprehensive clinical notes in the file with proper date, time, name and signature.

5. Proper documentation of all events during the duty hours with date, time, signature & name.

6. To be well
- versed with the clinical condition of the patient before the consultants’ rounds and to make the consultants aware of any red flag signs.

7. To inform Consultant about their respective patients from time to time.

8. To attend the post-op patients immediately after their arrival from the OT and inform the patients condition in the post-op period.

9. To attend the patients within 30 mins of their admission to the wards and inform the consultants about the admission and initiate the treatment as per their advice.

10. To trace investigations and inform the deranged reports to the consultants immediately and initiate the necessary treatment regimen.

11. To help management with smooth functioning of hospital.

12. To inform the relatives about the condition, treatment plan and medical procedure in consultation with the treating consultants.

13. In case of difficulty inform the Medical Registrar/ Medical Officer.

14. To not initiate any treatment without confirming with the primary consultants.

15. Making discharge summaries of the patients and updating them timely to prevent any delay during discharges.

16. Doing minor bedside procedures like urinary catheter insertion, RT insertion, surgical dressings, MLC, procedure charges entry,

17. To be vigilant about the medications being dispensed by the nursing staff and carry forward the investigation and treatment orders correctly.

18. Attending the training programmes regularly for clinical growth and development.

Academic & trades qualifications

1. Resident medical officer—MBBS

Work experience & skills

1. 5years of experience post MBBS

2. Should be well versed in simple bedside procedures

4. Should be clinically sound

6. Should be able to manage wards with high occupancy and be able to do basic management in times of crisis.

Salary - 70k to 1 lakhs, and Depends on Last Salary or Interview
