Introduction:
The position will act as the key workforce partner to the GTIS F&BM Team, providing the Workforce Strategy Lead with significant strategic and operating leverage. The role will have a broad remit across all WF related responsibilities and will be expected to execute against the agreed strategic WF priorities. The incumbent will support the WF Strategy lead in WF operating rhythms (e.g. planning, forecasting, location strategy, 3 year plans and approvals etc.) ensuring appropriate processes are in place to enable the successful tracking, control and governance of GTIS WF.

What will you be doing?
- The GTIS WF Strategy BM will support GTIS WF Strategy Lead in the GTIS People OpCo on a monthly basis and will be responsible for defining and driving the agenda, ensuring topics covered are timely and relevant.
- Participate in annual, quarterly and monthly Planning/Outlook processes for WF
- Support in Tracking actual WF data, ensuring risks and opportunities to Plan/Outlook are fully understood
- Support WF inputs into the QBRs, MORs, TC Weekly’s and D&I people pillar
- Ensure a best in class, consistent and standardised approach to WF Management is in place across all GTIS pillars
- Own the relationship with supporting COEs, making sure they are being optimally utilised
- Provide support on WF transfers and structural changes
- Participate in ad hoc WF analysis (e.g. Workload Management) as needed

What We’re Looking For:

- Established BA4/AVP with significant experience in Business Management, Workforce Management or Strategy and Governance functions
- Degree qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Significant experience in financial services; international experience preferred
- Expert user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Experience in shaping workforce strategy for a large Tech organisation
- Able to confidently operate in ambiguous situations
- Breadth and depth of understanding of Barclays Group/GTIS/Finance goals, direction and strategy
