**Responsibilities**:

- Design of Lithium-ion Battery BMS Firmware

**Competencies**

**Technical/ Functional**:

- Li Ion Battery Domain knowhow a must
- Knowledge of different types of lithium ion cell and chemistries.
- Algorithm development experience for BMS (SOC, SOH, etc.)
- Algorithm concept development, design and implementation
- Algorithm tuning and calibration
- Data Analytics and analysis experience
- Knowledge of different theories and concepts like SOC estimation, temperature and power derating strategies.
- Knowledge of Battery pack testing.
- Proficient in writing test scripts for testing tool such as Vector CAN tools
- Strong working knowledge of different tools for BMS design and simulation like COMSOL, Matlab-Simulink, Matlab,Simulink, State Flow etc.
- Knowledge about DFMEA and Fault Tree Analysis.
- Knowledge about automotive industry standards, International standards of lithium ion cell and pack.
- Knowledge of functional safety standard -ISO26262
- Knowledge of electrical vehicle and interface of battery on vehicle.
