A hostess's job is to ensure that guests have a positive experience from the moment they enter a restaurant, lounge, or coffee shop. Some of the responsibilities of a hostess include:

- **Greeting guests**: Welcoming guests with a smile and eye contact
- **Taking reservations**: Recording reservations and assigning tables
- **Guiding guests to tables**: Escorting guests to their tables or other seating areas
- **Providing menus**: Giving guests menus and answering any initial questions
- **Managing wait times**: Providing accurate wait time estimates and seating guests in the waiting area
- **Optimizing seating**: Ensuring even workload for wait staff by optimizing seating at different tables
- **Answering phones**: Answering incoming calls and scheduling reservations with large parties
- **Providing service**: Ensuring prompt and courteous service
- **Resolving complaints**: Speaking with patrons to ensure satisfaction with food and service, and attending to complaints
- **Helping dining room staff**: Setting and clearing tables, replenishing water, and serving beverages
- **Issuing dining charges**: Verifying orders, calculating taxes, and totaling bills for to-go orders

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
