- **Training and Development**: Train new employees and provide ongoing training to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards and proper use of equipment and cleaning agents.
- **Scheduling**: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- **Inspection**: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure they meet cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- **Standards Enforcement**: Ensure that the facility’s cleanliness and maintenance standards are consistently met and exceeded.
- **Guest Relations**:

- **Addressing Complaints**: Handle guest complaints and requests related to housekeeping issues promptly and professionally.
- **Special Requests**: Accommodate special requests or needs from guests related to their rooms or public areas.
- **Inventory and Supplies Management**:

- **Stock Control**: Monitor and manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment.
- **Ordering**: Place orders for supplies as needed and ensure efficient use of resources to stay within budget.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- **Health and Safety**: Ensure that all cleaning practices comply with health and safety regulations, including the safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
- **Emergency Procedures**: Train staff on emergency procedures related to fire safety, chemical spills, and other potential hazards.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- **Reporting**: Prepare reports on housekeeping activities, staff performance, and maintenance issues.
- **Record-Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, inventory levels, and staff attendance.

Skills and Qualifications
- **Experience**: Typically, a background in housekeeping with prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.
- **Skills**: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential. Attention to detail is crucial for maintaining high cleanliness standards.
