1. Core Responsibilities
- Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment: Conduct regular site inspections to identify physical, chemical, and ergonomic risks (e.g., kiln operations, dust exposure, machinery hazards).
- Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to Gujarat Factory Rules, OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001, and Environmental Protection Act standards.
- Incident Investigation: Lead root-cause analysis of accidents/near-misses and implement corrective actions.
- Training & Drills: Organize safety training (fire safety, PPE usage) and emergency response drills.
- Documentation*: Maintain EHS records, audit reports, and statutory compliance documents.
2. Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Industrial Safety (e.g., ADIS, PDIS) or Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical).
- Certifications: Mandatory "Fire Safety" certification; knowledge of **HAZOP studies* or *IEMT (Industrial Environmental Management) is preferred.
- *Experience*: 2-6 years in manufacturing sectors (chemicals, ceramics, metals).
- *Technical Skills*: Proficiency in risk assessment tools, MS Office, and environmental monitoring.
3. Salary & Benefits*
- *Entry-level: 25000 to 35000 Per Month
