Academic Dean

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

**1. *Academic Leadership**
- Provide strategic vision and direction for academic programs.
- Lead curriculum development and assessment of academic programs.
- Ensure academic programs meet accreditation standards.
- Foster a culture of academic excellence and innovation.

2. **Faculty Management**
- Recruit, hire, and mentor faculty members.
- Oversee faculty development, promotions, and evaluations.
- Manage faculty workload, teaching assignments, and professional growth.
- Promote research and academic scholarship within the faculty.

**3. *Student Affairs**
- Oversee student academic progress, advising, and support services.
- Address student grievances and academic disciplinary issues.
- Ensure student retention and academic success through initiatives and programs.
- Develop and manage scholarships, awards, and recognition programs.

**4. *Administrative Oversight**
- Prepare and manage the school or college's budget.
- Oversee administrative and operational functions, including staffing and resources.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with other academic and administrative units to align goals and strategies.

5. **Curriculum and Program Development**
- Review and approve curriculum changes or new program proposals.
- Implement and support online and continuing education programs.
- Ensure programs are aligned with market trends and student needs.

6. **Institutional Collaboration**
- Work closely with the university’s central administration and other deans on academic policies and institutional goals.
- Participate in university-wide committees and task forces.
- Foster partnerships with external stakeholders, including community organizations, government, and industry.

7. **Accreditation and Assessment**
- Ensure academic programs meet accreditation standards.
- Lead the process of program reviews and external evaluations.
- Monitor and improve program outcomes and institutional effectiveness.

8. **Resource Development**
- Lead fundraising and development efforts for the school or college.
- Secure grants and external funding for academic and research programs.
- Cultivate relationships with donors and alumni for financial support.

9. **Diversity and Inclusion**
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring, curriculum, and student recruitment.
- Develop initiatives to create a more inclusive academic environment for all students and faculty.

10. **Communication and Public Relations**
- Represent the school or college at university events and external functions.
- Communicate regularly with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and external stakeholders about developments and achievements.
- Promote the school’s reputation and accomplishments within academic and professional communities.

An Academic Dean acts as both a strategic leader and an operational manager, balancing the academic mission with administrative duties.

**Educational Qualifications**

Degree / Master

B Ed or M Ed

Experience
- Teaching experience in reputed CBSE school
- Preference given to residents of Gurugram followed by Delhi/NCR region

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
