**Job Description: Resort Front Office Executive**
**Position: Front Office Executive**
**Location: Tranquil Beach Resort, Harihareshwar.**
**Reports to: Front Office / Resort Manager**
**Job Summary**:
The Front Office Executive is the first point of contact for guests at our resort. This role is crucial in providing a welcoming and efficient experience for all guests, ensuring their stay is pleasant and exceeds their expectations. The Front Office Executive handles check-ins and check-outs, manages reservations, and addresses any guest concerns or inquiries, other administrative & accounting work.
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
**1. Guest Services**:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in/check-out process.
- Provide information about the resort and amenities.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints, providing prompt and efficient resolutions.
- Assist guests with special requests, such as site seeing, special arrangements or arranging transportation.
**2. Reservations and Bookings**:
- Manage and update reservations in the system, ensuring accuracy and availability.
- Confirm and follow up on reservations, both online and over the phone.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled.
**3. Administration**:
- Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Process payments and manage billing procedures.
- Keep accurate records of guest information, reservations, and transactions.
**4. Communication and Coordination**:
- Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Provide daily reports and updates to the Front Office Manager.
**5. Sales and Promotions**:
- Upsell resort services and amenities to guests to enhance their experience.
- Promote special offers and packages available at the resort.
- Assist in marketing and promotional activities as needed.
- **Qualifications**:_
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management is a plus.
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with hotel management software
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
