The Assembly Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the assembly process. The Assembly Supervisor is responsible for coordinating workflow, providing leadership to the assembly team, and maintaining a high level of productivity and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Production Coordination:

- Plan and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly assembly activities.
- Monitor and ensure that production and assembly targets are met as per deadlines.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., molding, quality, sales, stores, etc) to ensure smooth workflow.
- Forecasting and coordinating in advance with the sales team regarding the dispatch of finished goods.
- Team Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and motivate the team of assembly workers.
- Train the assembly workers about the processes, and workflow in order to carry out the production job effectively and efficiently.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals and expectations.
- Quality Assurance:

- Ensure that products are assembled according to established quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular quality checks and inspections.
- Implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
- Safety Compliance:

- Promote and enforce a safe working environment.
- Train assembly team members on safety procedures.
- Investigate and report any safety incidents or near misses.
- Inventory Management:

- Monitor and manage inventory levels for the assembly raw materials, consumables, and other components.
- Plan, track, and order in advance the consumption of materials and their effective utilisation.
- Minimize wastage of materials through efficient assembly processes.
- Performance Tracking:

- Track and analyze production metrics, such as individual performance, production schedules, daily production tracking, efficiency, defect rates, etc.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Documentation:

- Maintain accurate records of production data, including internal orders, consumption, rework, rejection, dispatch, quality reports, etc.
- Generate reports for management to evaluate performance and efficiency.
- Training and Development:

- Provide training to new employees on assembly processes and equipment operation.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of the assembly team.
- Equipment Maintenance:

- Responsible for ensuring that assembly equipment is well-maintained and operational.
- Report equipment malfunctions and request repairs as needed.
- Communication:

- Communicate effectively with management regarding production status, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with other supervisors and department heads to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as B.tech electronics, Diploma in electronics, B.SC with substantial years of experience
- Knowledge about the assembly and quality of precision plastic or electronic components.
- Thorough knowledge and experience in using computers and MS Office.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Schedule:
