About the Company-We are a trusted manufacturer of industrial valves used in marine ship applications, known for our precision engineering and quality standards. As part of our growth, we are looking for a skilled Supervisor – Assembly & Testing Shop to lead our production operations and ensure excellence in every product delivered.

Role Overview--As the Assembly & Testing Supervisor, you will lead day-to-day operations of the valve assembly and testing department, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to production targets. This position is open for both Contract and Non-Contract (Permanent) employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage assembly & testing of industrial valves.
  • Ensure production targets, safety norms, and quality standards are met.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in assembly and testing operations.
  • Prepare and maintain daily production and quality reports.
  • Guide, train, and motivate shop floor technicians.
  • Coordinate with the engineering and maintenance teams for process improvements.
  • Maintain shop discipline, cleanliness, and adherence to 5S standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: ITI / Diploma / Engineering Degree (Mechanical preferred)
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in industrial valve assembly/testing or relevant manufacturing setup.
  • Core Skills:
  • Strong technical knowledge of valves and testing procedures
  • Leadership and team supervision
  • Understanding of quality & safety practices
  • Problem-solving and communication skills

Employment Details

  • Type: Contract or Non-Contract (Permanent)
  • Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM (10-hour shift)
  • Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Compensation & Benefit

  • salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience)
  • Overtime: Paid at double rate
  • Annual Bonus: Performance-based
  • Benefits: PF & ESIC applicable
