- **JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for Coal storage and Coal feeding monitoring at EBTSL Stockyard including stacking & reclaiming in the field.

Responsible for maintaining compliances as per standard operating procedure with respect to coal supply and handling which also includes field compliance related to Coal supply & handling agreement with EBTSL.

Ensuring the overall safety during the operations.

- Operation

Nayara Coal storage & stacking/reclaiming monitoring at EBTSL stockyard
- Round the clock vigilance of coal storage yard, all junction house & coal belts.
- Observation and communication of any smouldering or Fire in Coal Stock yard.
- Separate stacking & reclaiming of each vessel and it does not get mixed with other vessel coal.
- Coordinating with SIC & Nayara security team in case of any deviation.
- Day to day coordination with EBTSL team for smooth operation.
- Ensure compliance & record keeping of all records as per SOP.
- Guide and assist contract workers of the coal handling system for day-to-day activities & ensure 100% compliance to Safety PPEs and safety systems.
- Ensure all logbooks/log sheets are being duly filled and analyse any abnormality and issue therefrom.
- 100% compliance to Emergency handling procedures.
- Support to Coal handling system FE, Nayara stockyard FE and other coal handling system jobs during emergencies & as directed by SIC.
- Ensure overall safety during operation.
- QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Planning & Budgeting: To work as advised by Shift in Charge in order to achieve business targets.

Authority: Enforcing, decisions made in case of any deviation w.r.t. SOP.
- To follow the long-term, medium term & short-term planning w.r.t Business Plan.To comply with the operation procedure.Systems, Policies & Procedures: To implement and improve the systems, procedures & policies to create a systematic way of working to achieve business goals.

- Implementation of unit specific Field Operation Systems, Policies & Procedures.Suggest development of Systems, Policies & Procedures as per the requirement.Management: To implement measurement, review & decision-making processes for the Field Operation Systems, Policies & Procedures In order to achieve targeted outcomes as efficiently as possible

- Ensures the compliance to Sampling Schedules.
- Monitors the parameters to ensure that the business objectives of the units are achieved while controlling the parameters in line with the guidelines / Instructions received from the Shift in Charge.
- To take necessary corrective actions in the field.Reads the previous shifts’ logs (Log of all days / hours of his absence) and notes down key issues viz., quality issues, continuing maintenance jobs etc., needing his special attention.MIS: Prepare & make analysis of the MIS with various inputs w.r.t. the unit to enable timely decision making to avoid non-conformance and to achieve the business plan.

- Maintain the records of the critical jobs that are being carried out by Maintenance during the shift, continuing from the previous shift and the jobs envisaged to be carried out in the next shift.
