Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:Receive incoming shipments, verify their contents, and accurately record the receipt of goods.
Inspect incoming materials for damage or defects and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
Organize and store materials, equipment, and supplies in designated storage areas.
Conduct regular physical inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
Monitor inventory levels and initiate reordering when necessary to prevent stockouts.
Ensure proper labeling and identification of stored items.

Material Handling:Assist in loading and unloading trucks and moving materials within the facility.
Safely operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, following proper procedures and safety guidelines.
Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and documentation of outgoing materials.

Documentation and Record Keeping:Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.
Update inventory databases and systems to reflect accurate stock levels.
Generate reports on inventory status, usage, and discrepancies as required.
Prepare and maintain documentation related to shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

Coordination and Communication:Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials and supplies.
Communicate with suppliers and vendors regarding order status, discrepancies, or other issues.
Assist in coordinating the movement of materials between different departments or production areas.

Safety and Compliance:Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for material handling and storage.
Comply with company policies and procedures related to inventory control and security.
Identify and report any safety hazards or potential risks in the store area.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as a Store Assistant or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and processes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in using inventory management software.
- Knowledge of proper material handling and storage practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift certification (if required by the organization) is a plus.

**Job Type**: Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹8,297.72 - ₹31,227.96 per month
