**Job Summary**:
The School Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors. This role requires a friendly, professional, and organized individual to manage front desk responsibilities, provide administrative support, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the school office.
**Key Responsibilities: Front Desk & Visitor Management**:
- Greet and assist all visitors, students, parents, and staff in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls and messages.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area.
- Ensure all visitors sign in/out and follow school security protocols.
- Handle inquiries and provide accurate information about the school.
**Administrative Support**:
- Perform general clerical duties including photocopying, scanning, mailing, and filing.
- Support teachers and administrative staff with scheduling, document preparation, and data entry.
- Maintain accurate student records and assist with attendance monitoring.
- Help coordinate meetings, events, and appointments.
**Student & Parent Communication**:
- Assist with student late arrivals, early dismissals, and general attendance reporting.
- Communicate with parents regarding absences, illnesses, or school updates.
- Provide basic first aid assistance and contact parents when necessary (if trained/certified).
**Other Duties**:
- Support school-wide events such as parent-teacher conferences, open houses, and assemblies.
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or Office Manager.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous receptionist or administrative experience preferred, ideally in a school setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office equipment.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a positive attitude.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
Pay: ₹9,145.65 - ₹25,000.00 per month
