Job Description-:
Position Overview:
As a Desktop Publishing (DTP) Operator in the Rajeev Classes, your primary responsibility will be to create and format educational materials, such as textbooks, workbooks, and digital learning resources, ensuring their visual appeal and alignment with instructional objectives. You will work closely with instructional designing team, managerial team business and sales team to produce high-quality learning materials that engage students and enhance their learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Document Formatting: Utilize desktop publishing software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress) to format and layout educational materials based on design templates, style guides, and content guidelines provided by the instructional design team. This includes typesetting, font selection, paragraph formatting, and page layout to create visually appealing and easy-to-read materials.

2. Content Integration: Integrate text, images, graphs, charts, tables, and other media elements into the layout while maintaining consistency and accuracy. Ensure that all content elements are correctly positioned, aligned, and formatted according to established standards.

3. File Management: Organize and maintain digital files for each project, including source files, images, and fonts, ensuring version control and easy accessibility for future updates or modifications.

4. Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure that the final output meets the required standards in terms of formatting, layout, image resolution, typography, and overall visual consistency.

5. Collaboration: Collaborate with instructional designers, content developers, graphic designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide suggestions to enhance the visual presentation of educational materials.

6. Schedule Adherence: Manage assigned tasks within project timelines, coordinating with the project management team to ensure timely delivery of completed work.

7. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to formatting, software tools, or file compatibility to maintain smooth production processes.

8. Design Support: Provide design support by creating or modifying graphic elements, icons, infographics, and other visuals as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

- High proficiency in desktop publishing software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress) and other design tools.
- Strong knowledge of typography, layout design, and print production processes.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in formatting and layout.
- Familiarity with educational content and instructional design principles is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot technical issues and find efficient solutions.
- Knowledge of emerging design trends and technologies in the EdTech in industry.

Salary offered -: 1,08,000 - 1,20,000 LPA
