**Job Title**: Program Secretary for PIYA Department
**Reports To**: General Secretary
**Location**: YWCA of Bombay Byculla office

YWCA of Bombay, a leading NGO dedicated to empowering women at all levels, seeks a passionate and committed **Program Secretary** for its **Participation & Involvement of Youth in Action (PIYA)** department. The PIYA department focuses on youth engagement and development through various community-based activities and initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Youth Program Development & Coordination**:

- Responsible for the development and management of the PIYA program, ensuring the active participation and involvement of youth in YWCA initiatives.
- Collaborate with the General Secretary and PIYA Committee to plan, implement, and monitor a balanced and progressive program of youth activities and events.
- **Event and Session Planning**:

- Work closely with the Chairperson to plan and organize monthly programs for the youth.
- Assist in coordinating and organizing various programs and events of the Association, including workshops, meetings, and outreach activities.
- **Networking & Collaboration**:

- Build and maintain relationships with other NGOs and community organizations.
- Attend and participate in programs and events of partner NGOs when required, fostering collaboration and mutual support.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:

- Prepare and present regular reports on PIYA activities to the General Secretary, Board of Management (BOM), and PIYA Committee.
- Maintain records, registers, and financial documents related to the PIYA programs, including fees and subscriptions.
- Distribute monthly newsletters and other literature to members and stakeholders.
- **Administrative Support**:

- Handle all correspondence related to PIYA activities, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the PIYA department, providing administrative support as required.
- **Member Engagement**:

- Actively work to recruit new, committed members for the YWCA, particularly within the youth programs.
- Encourage engagement and commitment from youth members through effective communication and programming.
- **Meetings & Collaboration**:

- Attend staff and committee meetings as required, contributing to discussions and decision-making processes related to PIYA activities.
- Collaborate effectively with the YWCA team to ensure the success and sustainability of the youth programs.
- **Other Duties**:

- Take on additional tasks and assignments as directed by the General Secretary or Board of Management to support the overall mission of YWCA of Bombay.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**: A degree in social work or a related field.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in program coordination or working with youth is preferred.
- **Skills**: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively with diverse groups.
- **Commitment**: Passionate about youth empowerment, women's issues, and community development.
- **Additional**: Willingness to work flexible hours and travel for events or networking purposes.
