Job Description: Narrow Web Flexo Operator/Supervisor

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Contract Type: Two-Year Renewable Contract (Bachelor Status)

Position Summary:
This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dynamic team in a growing market while working with state-of-the-art technology.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and supervise automatic European narrow web flexo presses with a minimum of 8 colors, ensuring high-quality output.
- Oversee the production of self-adhesive labels, shrink sleeves, and wrap-around sleeves to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Manage production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of jobs while optimizing press efficiency.
- Conduct machine setup, including plate mounting, ink mixing, color matching, and alignment of materials.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues to minimize downtime.
- Train and mentor local operators to ensure skill development and adherence to operational standards. Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the printing process.
- Collaborate with the production manager and other departments to meet client and project requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels of consumables, including inks, substrates, and spare parts.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

- Qualifications and Skills:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience operating and supervising European narrow web flexo printing presses (8 colors or more).
- Proven expertise in producing self-adhesive labels, shrink sleeves, and wrap-around sleeves.
- Strong technical knowledge of narrow web flexo printing processes, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with advanced printing technologies and software used in flexographic printing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Previous international work experience is a plus.
