You will be working as IS Solution Architect and will be part of IS Services Business Area based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to IS Department Manager and will be responsible for owning SAP basis software solution architecture and system architecture for ERP technology and solutions and ensuring it is in line with enterprise and data architecture standards. Is responsible for the designing and building, integrity and quality of an IS solution and of associated IS services delivered to business. Is responsible that the IS solution or service provides the required functionality and meets the expectations of business and are reliable, maintainable, compliant and auditable. Managing or monitoring software development and analyses data to continually improve solution. Collaborating with and contributing to project setup and delivery as well as to service operations optimization. Facilitating solution discussions and best practice definitions, and leading technical delivery workstreams for customer engagements.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Providing the skills, knowledge and experience to formulate a solution that will not only address the project requirements but also ensuring that the solution fits with existing and future services. The Solution Architect is also aware of the organizations strategy and the various current under-pinning policies that support the strategy going forward
- Contributing to IS problem and IS incident management to fight ticket volume by detecting re-occurring defects and eliminating these. Proactively supporting issue resolution during project delivery to avoid delays or any other form of negative impact to a project or service
- Supporting the installation, management, maintenance and optimization of IS internal and cross-functional processes related to ERP Domain. Ensuring proper decision making, commitment management and business engagement through steering committee participation
- Managing assigned budget effectively and delivering activities within agreed schedules and costs. Participating in the definition of costs and schedules
- Ensuring satisfaction with IS services understanding their strategic and tactical needs, making sure actions are taken to close any gaps and influencing stakeholder perceptions of the relevant IS services
- Supporting major incident and critical situation resolution incl. stakeholder communication (business, delivery, service desk). Supporting IS problem management to ensure ticket volume is managed and re-occurring defects are eliminated
- Keeping knowledge up to date regarding new and emerging IS technology and IS industry practices, bringing learning into ABB all within in the scope of the relevant IS solutions

**Your background**:

- Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in any stream
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in basis administration or system administration role with expertise in SAP system sizing, landscape architecture, design, setup, SAP upgrade or migration, especially HANA and S/4HANA
- Knowledge on multiple DB technologies especially (DB2, Oracle, ASE) to HANA, instance types, storage, OS, network, disaster recovery and high availability approaches in the context of running SAP on hyperscaler cloud
- Deep analytical skills and the ability to see the connections between layers of business operations, flexible and adaptable to work in a dynamic environment
