**Reports To: Director of Marketing**

**Job Summary**:
The Admission Counsellor at Shri Venkateshwara University will be responsible for providing guidance and counselling to prospective students regarding academic programs, course selections, and career paths. This role will involve actively managing the lead generation process, including follow-up calls, walk-ins, and ensuring that potential leads are effectively converted into confirmed admissions. The counsellor will play a key role in transforming walk-in inquiries into enrolled students while seeking opportunities for further lead generation and collaboration with external sources.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Counselling & Admission Support**:

- Provide expert guidance to prospective students on various academic programs, course offerings, and career opportunities.
- Help students make informed decisions by explaining course structures, admission procedures, and university policies.
- **Lead Management & Follow-ups**:

- Manage and maintain a database of potential leads.
- Perform regular follow-up calls with prospective students who have shown interest in the university’s programs.
- Follow-up with walk-in prospects to convert them into confirmed admissions.
- **Converting Leads into Admissions**:

- Actively work to convert all inbound inquiries and walk-ins into confirmed admissions through personalized counselling and a strong understanding of student needs.
- Seek confirmation from potential students regarding their decision to enrol, ensuring all documentation is completed.
- **Lead Generation & Collaboration**:

- Identify additional leads by reaching out to schools, colleges, and other organizations to increase the visibility and appeal of university programs.
- Explore opportunities to collaborate with educational consultants, coaching centres, and other channels for lead generation.
- Attend education fairs and outreach programs to generate more leads and opportunities.
- **Reporting & Feedback**:

- Track and report on lead conversion rates, admission targets, and other KPIs to the Director of Admissions and Marketing.
- Provide feedback on the lead generation process and suggest improvements for future campaigns.
- **Customer Relationship Management**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students and their families, acting as their primary point of contact throughout the admission process.
- Provide timely responses to inquiries and address any concerns or queries promptly and professionally.
- **Other Duties as Assigned**:

- Participate in various admissions-related activities, such as open houses, campus tours, and orientation programs.
- Assist in preparing promotional materials for the university’s academic programs and admission process.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree (preferred in Education, Business Administration, or a related field).
- **Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a university or educational institution.
- Strong understanding of the admission process and student counselling.
- Experience in lead management, tale calling, and follow-ups.
- **Skills & Abilities**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to understand and analyses students' needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Working Hours**:

- Full-time position, with flexibility to work evenings or weekends as required.

**Application Process**:
Pay: ₹11,087.16 - ₹35,781.33 per month
